Inspired by the podcast This American Life, this project involved creating a versatile and cohesive layout for a book featuring diverse listener stories. The design includes four chapters, a table of contents, chapter openers, and a fully designed cover with end pages.

Day at the Beach presents a rich tapestry of stories: from a poignant family reunion in "Now We Are Five" to a humorous coming-of-age tale in "Long Talk on a Short Pier," a barroom encounter in "Mexican Doctor," and a nostalgic beachcombing adventure in "The Beachcomber." To reflect the serene and powerful nature of these narratives, I chose a calming blue tone with beach-inspired graphics, merging tranquility with the essence of the ocean.
